    Prepare to be amazed! Large numbers of fabulous scarecrows are taking up residence at The Garden House throughout August – a spectacle to delight all!

    Local businesses, schools, youth and service organisations have all been busy making their own scarecrow, and the result is a wonderful festival of their creativity.

    Follow the Scarecrow Trail and choose your favourite!

    Charles Steevenson of the ‘Wine Warehouse Tavistock’ will be demonstrating and offering a selection of his wines for you to try. The wine-tasting will be followed by a Cheese & Wine supper. A range of cheeses including a number of newly introduced varieties have been carefully chosen and supplied by ‘Country Cheeses of Tavistock’ and will be accompanied by local chutneys and artisan breads.

    £13.50 pp to include wine tasting and supper. Booking essential.

    Make your own autumn-leaf crown to take home or a collage that uses autumn colours in different materials. Try making your own 3D creation using modelling clay, conkers, seeds and leaves. Great fun – let your imagination rule!
