Accessibility is on the whole good and wheelchair users will be able to experience the majority of the garden. We don’t have a mobility scooter to hire. For an independent review of our access please read “The Bimblers” blog.
Due to the many narrow paths, highly sensitive planting and lack of open spaces, only assistance dogs are allowed in the garden. We can provide water and there is some shade in our car park.
We are delighted to welcome groups by prior arrangement and we recommend you allow about 2 hours to explore plus additional time if teas or light lunches are required. Admission for the group leader is free. Contact the office on 01822 854769 for details.
Please be a Gift Aid visitor. As a registered charity we are able to claim an extra 25% from the Government on your total payment. This helps us to fund project work in the garden – currently the refurbishment of the walled garden. We are extremely grateful to those visitors who assist us in this way.
Free of charge every Friday March to October inclusive, except Good Friday. Free entry is for Member 1 only. Free entry is not valid for RHS members on group visits.
