Head Gardener Masterclass How to create and maintain a naturalistic garden

Have you tried to create a naturalistic garden and slipped into wilderness, or been too keen with the secateurs and lost that natural look?

The Garden House is famous for naturalistic planting. Visitors from all over the world swoosh their way through our grasses and repeat plantings, marvelling at heights, colours and clever use of seasonal planting.

It’s not easy to plant as if nature is in control. Our ‘deconstructed herbaceous borders’ take plenty of planning and maintenance. Spend a day with us and learn tips, techniques and ideas to create a piece of Garden House in your own garden.

Nick Haworth, our head gardenerwill take a day out to share the theory and show the practise in this masterclass. Spend time in the classroom and in the garden, before heading home, full of ideas and enthusiasm.
