Work with us at The Garden House
We always need good people at The Garden House - we have some great jobs and volunteering opportunities available, so if you think you may fit the bill we’d love to hear from you!
Visitor Welcome assistant [Customer facing, front of house]
Do you enjoy meeting people?
We are looking for a smart, capable self-starter; someone who is fun and friendly and will enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. As the first person our visitors meet, you will leave them with lasting impressions of The Garden House. We are passionate about the garden; we want to ensure every visitor has the best possible visitor experience; we want visitors to return again and again.
Your responsibilities will include;
· Being the friendly and welcoming face of the garden House
· Cash handling; providing tickets
· Promoting our valued membership
· Managing group visits by coach arties
· Providing occasional introductory talks to groups
· Assist with events when “it’s all hands to the pumps”
Previous relevant customer facing, front line experience would be great but for the right person, with the right “can-do” approach and initiative, we will provide all the necessary support. We are looking for someone who will really make a difference; fun, outgoing approach with the ability to work well in a small professional team.
