Flying views of the garden

Thanks to the generosity of Commercial Drone media of Holsworthy in Devon, we'll all be able to enjoy the garden from the air this year. The photographer (pilot!)  will be flying his drone at regular intervals to capture the seasons and give us fascinating new perspectives on the ever-changing garden. The drone is relatively small and quiet and won't be in the air for more than about 20 minutes at a time, so if you do happen to be in the garden when it is flying you may not even notice it.

The first of the drone photos gives us an idea of late April in the garden. The red Rhododendron near the house is known as a Devon Red or a Cornish Pink - depending upon what side of the Tamar you see it on.
