Botanical Art Christmas Card Workshop 27th November 2024 £55.00

Karen is a watercolour artist who lives on the edge of Dartmoor. Her botanical artwork is inspired by the flora that grows in her garden and the surrounding countryside.
Karen uses a unique dry brush process of watercolour painting which enables her to capture life like and vibrant images of the plants and flowers she paints from life.
Karen will provide all the materials, and offer one to one tuition needed to produce your own piece of botanical artwork. Whether on a blank greetings card or A4 specialised botanical watercolour paper.
Your watercolour palette containing individual paints and instructional handouts will be yours to take home at the end of the day, to inspire you to try this wonderful artform at home!

£55 ticket includes a hot drink and entry to our 10 acre gardens.

Please arrive for 9.45am for a 10.00pm start. We aim to finish at 4.00pm. Please feel free to pre-order lunch in our cafe on arrival should you wish to.

We will contact you around a week before the workshop with any information needed for the day. Please check your junk mail as we often end up in there!

Workshop Cancellation

• • If you are unable to attend, we ask for 21 days notice and a refund will be given minus a 25% admin fee. Any cancellations after that will be non-refundable.
  • If you would like to send someone in your place please give us their contact details (name, address, email and telephone number) so that we can confirm with them. If you are unable to get anyone to cover your place we can put your ticket price money towards another workshop.
  • If The Garden House has to cancel a workshop, full refunds will be given.
